I do like the dial design and lume, though it is surprisingly illegible 🤔. The hands need to be more different to the background. I've never been keen on B&R case and the lumed coating is just silly, in my opinion anyway.....

Exactly this. The piece itself is very 'holy shizzle!', but I'd like to see those hands in BGW9 to differentiate them from the crazy background.

 

All jokes aside I do kinda like it but I don’t think I could pull off a square watch , not that square anyways , I do like it though

 

I wear watches up to 45 mm because I have a very flat wrist. A 40mm B&R though is huge on the wrist because its square.

 

@Ugg10 your sons watch is absolutely stunning I think I could pull that off , the black one with that strap I don’t think would look good on a skinny bony wrist I think it’s more for guys like Arnold , I like the style that you showed in your pic , beautiful watches and when me and Duncan went to the city a few older models of B&R were really nice

I get brands are having to do different things also so I take that into consideration when i see watches like this , you never know what’s going to take off unless they try I suppose and we all live with watches with minor flaws like lume etc

just wondering where do you measure a square watch to get 40mm when it looks bigger (not aimed at you , in general speaking )

 

This is my assumption - as you see these dimensions are almost the same but the additional material in the “corners” does give the impression it is larger.

Oh, if you fancy trying this style out San Martin do a pretty good homage for 1/20 the price.

I honestly don't see it particularly legible. Especially at night when the hand alignment is running inline with some of the dial markers. An £11.900 gimmick.

 

What do you mean, "gimmick"? Bell & Ross have always made sensible watches.
