Thanks Honour 😁

I have heard people suggest leaving a water resistent solar watch in a glass of water in a south facing window if the weather is hot, they say the water keeps the watch from overheating 🤔

Personally, I found solar watches a bit needy, often I'd find myself pulling my sleeve up to expose the dial to some light. Ridiculous I know, but there were some weeks during winter where my Oceanus never reached the optimal charge level even sitting on a south facing windowsill, the app gave a graph showing charging over the last few weeks.

I actually came to appreciate battery quartz more, just bung in a battery and it runs until it doesn't 😁👍

All good information. I've found that all I need to keep my solar watches running is to never deprive them of any light source. Of course, being in a sunny climate and seldom wearing long sleeves also helps. Only had a solar go to two-second ticks but once and it quickly recovered after a window stay. Another of my daughter's Reguno solar that she had stored in a drawer went from not running to fully running after a couple of hours under an ordinary table lamp.
