I put on my Bulova precisionist today and thought I'd take a couple of pics.
Out in the sunlight I was surprised (and then worried) when I found that the inside of the crystal was 'fogged' up:

and in this pictures, the hands looked tarnished

I knew that it couldn't be moisture - I've only worn it about 3 times since I bought it mid October 2010 when they were first released.
I was worried that maybe the battery had started to leak, and what I was seeing was a vapour deposit from the battery fumes
Hoping this wasn't the case, I went back inside and took the back off to find this:

Hmmmm. The battery (and insides) looked pristine.
I removed the plastic spacer and removed the crown (you can see the crown release dimple in this picture):

and then dropped the movement out:

and gave the inside of the crystal a jolly good clean.
And then back on the wrist looking as it should:
