Most people on here will almost certainly say Renata.

 

Reason I asked was I bought a card with 50 assorted batteries and a few of them had rust on them 😳. Cheap as chips they were so thought I'd ask you which was more reliable 😉. Renata it is, thanks Davey ☺

 

Yes, Renata. There won't be much difference in price with energizer, maxell and sony do some good ones, they are all ok. Personally would avoid GP and unicell, and certainly none of the multi packs you can get from supermarkets and budget shops.

 

If you look back through the forum and search the internet, there are a few comments about Renata batteries leaking (about the worst thing that can happen). I have read that Seizaiken (made by Seiko) batteries are the least likely to leak. Make sure you buy silver oxide batteries as some can be alkaline in the same size.

I always buy Renata, but I'm not sure why. They don't appear to last any longer than their Energizer counterparts.

 

I agree with Seizaiken being a good option.
