I've had this Seiko a long time, it was serviced a couple of years ago and still runs like a train. These entry level Seikos were amazing value for money.
Afternoon change. Still time testing the Alpinist having rescued it from my wife's abusive hands (my poor watch!) So it's back on the wrist. This time with one of those excellent Barton Natos with the fabric strap ring. These are very comfortable.
OK, there is a fine line between homage and fake, and then further shading on quality homage and cheapo imitation. This is the third Steinhart I’ve owned / own and I don’t think there is any doubt where the design inspiration comes from - but it is nice to have another watch that ticks the boxes but won’t bring me out in a cold sweat if I have to grab a spanner or a hammer.
That’s an eye searer for sure! Sunshine on a strap!
