It is a nice size and 9.5mm thickness is taking full advantage of the 9039 movement, but it isn't cheap. The 9039 powered Baltany 1921 homage I bought has sapphire front and back with polished steel Breguet numerals and it was £250 from the UK website....

Not a bad looking watch, I actually prefer the cream/white version but I have to say I not a big fan of Breguet numbers (which is what I think they are called), good call to have a closed back as the 9039 is not the prettiest movement. They are also quite similar to some of the Kuoe watches which are in a similar price bracket.

The article mentions Hajimi Asaoka who has had a hand in some of the Kurono Tokyo watches, I think this is my favourite one of his with the egg shell colour dial. Iirc Kurono Tokyo only sell direct from their shop so no online you have to go in person, may have changed but I think that is how they traded, again releasing limited numbers at a time.

The bezel looks like it was intended for a different watch. The watch looks elegant until that square edged bezel catches the eye. Prices won't be that out of line with the likes of Marloe and Studio Underd0g. Only you can buy them here, and if there's a problem they don't have to go back to Japan.
