Watch movements are not like computer mother boards and power spply. Yes, replacement is not impossible, but it will be easier if You replace the dial, the hands and the case together with the movement...

Miyota 8215 is supposed to have the same measurements, will verify that then decide.

No point to do that...

Dial holes have totally different positions. Date will not fit to the position of date window in dial. The holes of minute and hour hands must be enlarged to fit the new movement. The hole of seconds hand is larger than needed...
