I know that there isn’t much out there in the remotely affordable bracket. I do have a hankering for one though - would be so nice to see a movement in full 3D.

They all tend to look like they are transparent plastic imo.

The Hublot one with a full sapphire bracelet as well looks like a g-shock.

I'll stick to metal, however cool an idea it seems in theory, im not sure it works (for me at least) in practice.

I will say @Raggie that I think if you like sapphire cases then ceramic cases maybe of interest to you also

the black ceramic Tudor , omega , AP are all beautiful

the blue ceramic Royal Oak thing is really nice but I think there is risks of chips and cracks rather than scratches but I’m not really sure to be honest I think a few members Here have the ceramic Tudor and OMegas

Whatever the pros and cons of sapphire as a watch case material, I have a problem with all transparent/skeleton watches, and that is they aren't going to look very good on a hairy wrist. OK that B&R looks very cool on a perfect white background, but imagine it with an arm behind and it is no where near as appealing.

Closest I've got is the extraordinary looking Ciga Design, which has got glass on both sides, and is therefore completely see-through (although that's not obvious from the photos):

Ignoring the fact that the time is very difficult to see, it's a fantastic looking thing on the wrist, and I really must wear it more often.
