Gone a little bit bomb-aimer today.  Oh, and here's a tip - if your watch has curved spring bars, you can need an extra mil on your strap width, to fill the gap between the lugs properly.  I like to take the OEM straps off my daily wearers A) to keep them unscratched if they are metal, B) because they they are seldom long lasting if they are leather (I got through my TAG straps so quickly the jeweller gave me a bracelet FOC, so it's not a jibe at cheap watches), and C) because David Boettcher makes strong made-to-measure straps very reasonably.  I didn't tell him this RAF G10 was going on a quartz, but he is a jolly polite chap, and hasn't black-balled me.

This one today, a 1969/70 Perona.

Lovely thing, but I have to confess I only have it on because I was supposed to be selling it last night - it's a bit small for my liking.
Sadly the chap never turned up and has stopped answering messages.   We were meeting in a Wetherspoons in town though so all was not lost.  :drinks:

Back to ebay *sigh*
