Hi, I have been asked to put a battery in this to get it working, but have no idea what type of replacement I might need. Any ideas, there are two watches with this weird inside.

It's a disposable watch? I don't think you're meant to replace the cell pack but rather toss the whole thing in the bin and buy another one?

OTOH, if (and it's a BIG IF) you can find a replacement cell pack, or make one up yourself, I can tell you DO NOT try unsoldering the wires from the watch end but instead cut and join at the cell pack end using insulated sleeving to cover the joints. The components on the board are Surface Mounted and without specialist knowledge and soldering gear, a normal solder iron WILL almost certainly lift parts off the board. :tumbleweed:

BTW, I think Gimmllii is correct, and the capped button on the side hides the lens. (Of course holding your arm out like a robot to film kind of defeats the spy element/ )

Looks like the memory card holder is hinged. It should lift up if you get under it from case side.

You should just need an SD card adapter, where the micro card slots into it becoming a full size card you can insert into your laptop.

That's got to be a micro LiPoly battery. Might want to clip it out and see if it can be charged ... perhaps the owner doesn't know what he's/she's got?

DEFinitely read the microSDHC card to see what's on. You might get a treat. Warning: you might get a shock -- someone's out of focus vulva in full view. :scared: Maybe make sure the 710 or kiddies are out of the room.

I'm guessing that if you removed the crown and the movement you'd either find a 3.5mm socket on that port, either for charging, or for charging + data retrieval (how else to get images out of it?). Are you sure there's no microUSB port hidden by the bracelet?

You might find these on Thinkgeek.com or other gadget sites. It certainly give @RWP's Parnis tickets a run for the money!

well the big ic you can see is a memory chip so I guessing everything else is wither on the reverse or another board underneath. The screwdriver would so be taking that apart right now. I would guess the crown is probably the data port the other is probably power. Without getting under that board I couldn't be sure doe the lipo cell fit within the back and do you have a back for it? It does look like Chineseum electronicals at their very best.
