However - after a couple of days wear I'm clear that it is TOO SMALL for me. The watch is 37mm dia / 40mm with crown and I doubt it will ever see much wrist time for me.

The watch is in good condition for it's age - however it does show signs of wear, usual swirlies on bracelet and a few marks on the bezel, just after the 10. There is a very faint hairline mark on the crystal at around 12 o'clock which you can only see in certain light - not sure if this is the AR coating or not. Finally the bezel currently rotates both ways and does not have a firm ratchet feel too it.
On the plus side after a couple of days wear it is -2 secs down so is appears to be within chronometer limits. The watch is on a integral bracelet (1465/453) sized fro my 7.5" wrist with 3 spare links. The clasp has dual locks which I haven't seen before. It comes complete with inner and external boxes. Serial number matching chronometer certificate, Watches of Switzerland warranty and service record (last serviced 1997) For reasons I can't explain the instruction manual is for a quartz version and the warranty cards are from Watches of Switzerland, not Omega ( I assume WoS sold this pre-owned ? )
I'd estimate the trade value at around £475 and would like to offer the watch + appropriate cash for a Speedmaster Pro (preferably moonwatch but would also consider MkII and MkIV - well you never know
