Hi,

I have a 2.5" HDD in a USB case which is really useful for backup and data transfer - much more capacity than a USB stick.

Irritatingly, "upgraded" my laptop to a Windows Vista machine, and it won't recognise the usb drive eek.gif - it's not on the "compatibility list". Which makes it NFG for my purposes.

Still works fine under windows XP or Linux, so anyone looking to use it with those OS would find it a boon, I should think. No drivers or software needed - it just gets recognised as a "Mass USB Storage device" by Windows. Data transfer is very rapid using USB 2.0 - you can even run applications off the drive if you want to.

Will sell for 30 quid posted, or trade for something interesting...

Pics are a bit unspectacular. Size wise, it's a bit bigger than an ipod, fits easily into a jacket pocket for portability. Comes with a leather sleeve and the user guide.

I repeat, just to stress, this will NOT work with Vista but should work fine with any other Windows, Mac or Linux OS.

Cheers,
Steve
