According to the TAG website this is just under 39mm - I am guessing that's without the crown as it does feel a bit bigger, if anybody wants a more accurate measurement, I'll be happy to hold a ruler up to it!
As far as trades go - not 100% sure. Ideally I would like an auto chrono with a black face, on an SS bracelet but that will look good on a black perf leather or a nato. I recently tried the 42mm Hamilton Field Auto Chrono and really liked it, so my ideal trade would be for one of those with some cash my way - all my current watch acquisition thoughts are pointing me in the direction of the Hamilton. I also quite like the 42/43mm Glycine Combat chronos, but would also consider another auto diver, but preferably 41 - 42mm - I saw a Breitling Colt recently for about £500, so something like that might be of interest.
Trade value - not sure tbh. The original asking price was £495. so I guess somewhere around that. I'm a bit green when it comes to this sort of thing so have no idea if trade value is supposed to be a bit more or less than cash price (if you know better, please don't take advantage of me!! ). Supplied to me with box and papers, it's also pretty much mint - there are some tiny marks on the clasp and there is a very faint mark on the side of the case - it's possible that I may have done this on one of the three occasions that I've worn the watch, but this is not especially noticeable IMO and doesn't affect the enjoyment of this watch. The bracelet is full size and I wear it with some adjustment in the clasp, which is slightly loose on my 7 3/4"ish wrist. The dial is really very nice and my photos don't do the guilloche effect justice.
I can't put any cash into the deal at the moment I'm afraid and I'm not 100% sure that I want to part with the TAG, but I think I would like something a bit bigger. If there was an option of me trading the watch for a Strat, I'd think about it, but the Strat would be a bit harder to hide from the mrs
Please ask for more pics if you want anything specific. I am based in Leicester, but backwards and forwards to Dublin over the next 3-4 weeks.
