......to trade for an orsa monstrum, ideally a white faced one with blue, green or orange. Although would consider a black faced one. The watch that i would like to trade is my yellow "soxa" 6309-7040 which was put together and finished by Michael Newby (Twickersdude) The watch has a lovely even ti beading all over the watch including the bezel (not the bezel insert) save for the wave logo on the case back. The watch has replacement hands, dial, chapter ring, bezel insert (24hr variant) and slighly domed crystal. All the gaskets have also been replaced. The old movement has been swapped out 4 a nos replacement, and it keeps excellent time, around 10/15 secs per week. It will come with one of duncans black "composite" straps with matching yellow stitch. The whole watch cost me around £300 to put together. The only reason this is up for trade is that i have another 6309 on its way from michael, but in orange this time, and my collection is being taken over by 6309's :E i would consider a straight sale, but would prefer a straight trade he possible. Cant post pics yet as im still not hooked up 2 broadband yet! Pics can be made available on request, or he you do a search for 'soxa' on the forum search function

I do like this, but what on earth is a 24hr bezel used for on a non GMT (i.e. 12hr) watch?
Can you swap the bezel for a more standard diver's one?
Regards,
Dave

the bezel insert is purely cosmetic
