Morning all, well, as many of you know I am the very lucky owner of a NOS Omega Flightmaster cal 910, which is most likely a pre production demo model and certainly has some one off original parts.

I bought the watch from our favorite auction site some time back, thinking it was a case set, dial and hands! When it arrived it was a complete unused watch, with on the lightest of storage marks on it! The seals had degraded to gunk over the years but it cleaned up well! It was missing the number bridge and a couple of minor parts but the movement was virtually complete!
When I took it to Omega (STS) for service they noticed some very interesting features:
Firstly; that the pushers were both completely yellow (the production ones are half yellow and red)
Secondly; the dial (which only has a single T (for tritium) printed on it

The explanation from Omega was that it was likely produced as a demonstration model prior to production to give AD’s an idea of the watch!
The watch as you can see is in unused NOS condition, it has a few light storage marks on it but the advice from Omega was to not refurbish the case as it would detract from the NOS nature of the watch.
The reason I am looking to trade it is simply because I am not wearing it and I don’t believe in watches sitting in a box gathering dust! Because it is NOS and because of it’s rarity I just don’t want to spoil it. TBH It is a superb watch but I wear my 105003 and my Vader so regularly this has only ever been worn once! Seems a shame for it not to go to a new home!

It is hard to place a value on this watch, I have never seen a NOS cal 910 Flightmaster for sale and this one is extra special because of the pre production features it has!
I am not looking for a straight sale on the watch (unless I get an offer I can’t refuse) but I am looking for a trade, considered options are (with possible cash balance either way depending on watch):
• 2998 Speedmaster / 2915 Seamaster
• Rolex Submariner
• Rolex Sea Dweller
If you have anything OMega or Rolex you think might be of interest please let me know!
The watch obviously comes with a two year Omega warranty, original period Omega box and will be supplied not on a leather strap but a NOS 1171 Bracelet
You guys know me and you know this watch, please feel free to ask any questions!
Cheers Tom
