I'm after a 20mm straight end lumpy (Brushed). Offered in exchange is a late 50's or early 60's Omega auto. I don't know the model no or date so that's just guesswork plus a few opinions of forum members.
This watch has been in a box for 19 years. It belonged to my father in law who died in 1990.
Case dia = 33mm ( 35 with crown. )
lug to lug = 40mm
lug width = 17mm
On the dial it has the Omega logo below the twelve register, below that "OMEGA" and below that "AUTOMATIC"
Below the six register "SWISS MADE"
On the caseback the only text is "WATERPROOF" (Faintly visible on left edge of caseback in 2nd pic)
Wristband is a Speidel USA expanding bracelet 16mm wide.
The watch runs but needs a service and clean. The biggest problem is that the crown (signed) screws off the stem when adjusting the time
clockwise. As can be seen from the pics there appear to be tiny blisters on the dial and the hands are a bit tarnished.
Other than the lumpy, if an Omega enthusiast out there has a reasonable digital camera to trade I would be quite happy with
that. Otherwise WHY.
To save cluttering up the forum anyone with less than 50 posts can reach me here: mo-liam(at)tiscali(dot)co(dot)uk.

Didn't think it would take long smile.gif

I am accustomed to sleep and in my dreams to imagine the same things that lunatics imagine when awake.

What's not to get? I traded something I had no time for for something I wanted. Simple.
I collect for ME!
As for examining my head, it's been tried and the psychiatrist needed counselling afterwards.

Oubass

Next time do sell such a beautiful watch for a higher price; and buy many straps with the money. Or send the watch to me with a demand note... tongue2.gif

The comment of Vince, my friend, was to make you aware of the true value of your watch. If you want to give such stuff away, get a charity auction going.
