Hi all

Anyone know the correct battery for this movement ?? It's a ladies Omega Deville and the battery compartment id very tiny indeed.

I will let you know asap, it may be in the morning.

From memory it may be a special lithium one.
Omega made a ladies movement in the 1980's that used a small 3v lithium battery. The batteries lasted about 3 months , sometimes not even that and it was/is very expensive. It was a big mistake. They had to make new circuits for this movement and I last heard that they were replacing then FOC.
It may not be this one but I cannot remember the calibre, I will look it up as soon as possible.

I fear that it may be the very movement you describe. I'm most grateful for anything you can find out, and indeed if they are still carrying out the modification you mention.

Omega 1459 = ETA 281.002 = UCAR 335 (non Lithium version.)
or Renata 751 Lithium.

I have no idea if they still do the conversion.
