I always find if I walk round a shop for example Marks and Spencers wearing just a pair of undies, wellington boots, a woolly hat to ensure you maintain a modicum of decency and your watch. All the old dears notice my watch. They all stare. In fact the security guard came to escort me out. He was so frightened my watch might get nicked by one of them :swoon:
I can't hold the full size I pad in one hand to photograph my wrist. I'm afraid it's like many other wrists.........ends in a hand, not talons or anything really interesting .
I saw one of these in the window of Goldsmiths a few years ago and I loved the Orange strap on it. I think It was the fact such an expensive piece dared to be bright and fun. Sort of a Juxtapose to Its own exclusivity. Gave it a sort of 'I don't care happy go lucky' look. Sort of self effacing to its undoubted charm and good lucks. The Bulova reminds me of it.

Don't like the strap .......... not that keen on the watch either now that I stop to think about it & I'm not sure about the Marine Star either for that matter I used to like orange what's wrong with me?!
Does the Bulova have the smooth sweep second hand? Nice that someone noticed it though - was it someone you knew or a complete (as opposed to being in bits) stranger?
I think it must be an exclusive Bulova thing - Get in! :yahoo: (Artistmike is clearly jealous of the superior bezel design  )
I had this watch for quite a while before I realised the bezel actually turns - I just assumed the hex bolts were holding it in a fixed position

Reserved the orange Bulova from the local Argos . A snip at £147.
