Here is my early 60s 18k gold Seamaster. An inherited piece, but however belatedly, has really got me interested in watches:

Hi Guys, does anyone have any thoughts on this being genuine. I've wanted one for ever and currently have the funds...

Any thoughts or recommendations would be greatly received. Thanks!

£2400 seems a bit much especially because of the overall condition . I would rate it 7 out of 10 .this is just my honest opinion.

balance wheel  condition?if it was in this condition

I would be much happier.Back is not to good either.

Hope I have not offended you by giving you my opinion.

Ps I do think it is genuine .but I am no expert .

No offence at all. I'm slightly worried about the over polished back, surely you wouldn't do this?

That flightmaster looks genuine but in tarted up shoddy condition. I would steer clear as it is probably overpriced by a lot.

By by the way this isn't really the thread for enquiries like this, let's keep it for pretty pictures.

I've put the speedmaster on a leather strap and I think it looks much better. 086910a0ce2da6d75912245d4ed6c4a5.jpgbcce80059d66e55d5aaeb382379c6d1b.jpg013d1bf7c55076e22fb0c55ed1cace23.jpg

They put that in as part of the deal. Otherwise it would have been £340!!!!
