Back of case - (outside) Bulova, 3-411657, N2, stainless steel.
(Inside) M.R.P, 7312, SWISS.
Crown - Bulova.
Movement - SWISS N3, Bulova Watch Co, 11ANAC, 23 twenty three Jewels.
Dial - Bulova Ambassador Automatic, SWISS MADE.

I was surprised when I opened the case back and found 23 jewels because it doesn't say it on the dial, anyway any help would be good, I found so far that N2 means 1972 but doesn't seem to match the N3 on the movement or the 11ANAC on the movement. Thanks

It's not unusual for the Bulova movement date to be one year out from the Bulova case date. As you say, N2 = 1972 and N3 = 1973.

Or the watch has had a replacement movement at some point in the last 40 years.

1973 movement in a 1972 case - my best guess would be January 1973

Very nice btw
