Watch specifications.

Recommended Posts

After a few twitterings about watch specs, I just realised I've only ever bought one watch based on spec, as a travel/holiday watch. The criteria being;

Must be cheap, in case I get mugged, or it gets nicked.

Waterproof, in case I fall in a river.

Solar powered, no unexpected flat batteries.

Tough, well it says so on the case.

And easily read.

So at £30 inc next day delivery this fills all five requirements rather well.

Mind you, this one can take a 9mm round at 15 meters, withstand electromagnetic pulses and survive a nuclear attack.  :baby:

Hi WRENCH.

I think this is the same Casio model as one I have. If I remember correctly if you don't use it for a while it goes in to hibernation mode and corrects itself when moved or after being exposed to light. Quite a good feature on an inexpensive watch.

Regards, Paul.
