mystery leather clad heavy carriage clock with chain

Recommended Posts

I have inherited a small but very heavy travel clock of some sort, it has a leather case, silk and velvet lined, and the clock is approx 100mm high, covered in leather, plain white dial.

It has a small chain so I guess it was designed to hang up, I was thinking maybe maritime ?

I could upload a photo if anyone is interested to help my identify it, I am possibly looking to sell it, but am clueless as to what it is. I have trawled the internet to no avail.

Best wishes
