Found this 1965 Sealion yesterday on an aftermarket bracelet and covered in dirt. The 30 jewel movement is running sweetly and after a good clean the 38mm case looks good. The lugs turn in like a speedmaster, and the hour markers look like bullets.

1965 Seiko 8301-1000

Nice. Seagull are definitely on my watch radar at the moment.

My daughter has just got her visa to go to China (Sichuan) in Sept, so we'll see what transpires on the watch front. :rolleyes:
