Vintage Seiko Superior servicing

Recommended Posts

Hello all,

I'm after some advice regarding an old Seiko Superior.

It was handed down to me and hasn't run for over a decade.

I took it into my local watch shop and the popped a battery in and said it was working. They told me it would probably be best to have a service with Seiko.

I agreed and it was sent to Seiko for a quote.

Two weeks later it was returned , Seiko said they didn't have the parts.

That was 6 months ago. I popped a battery in myself today and it didn't work at all.

Anyway, does anyone have any recommendations of good repair/service shops in the UK?

I do go to Japan once a year so would be trying to have it serviced there be the best option?

Thanks in advance.IMG_20170518_130049.jpg
