  1. Tea and ferrero rocher

It's the mark II for me every day of the week! [emoji16] Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  2. Bloody Omega boutique!

When I bought min '57 the leather strap and buckle would have been £370! Good job they threw it in with the watch. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

  5. I'm looking to replace the bracelet on my Mark II with either a 20mm leather strap, a notched strap, or put it on some mesh. The leather option I'm thinking of is a racing type strap (even though the watch isn't a racing version) with the holes in it near to the watch case. Will this suit it? If I go for the notched then do I have to go custom? Or are there off the shelf alternatives. I've had a quick look round, but I'm not able to find very much. Alternatively, if I go for some mesh, who would you recommend?
  6. Correct. Need to sell a few now before I look at any others. I like your thinking on the strategy as well. [emoji6] Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  7. A nice big box arrived this afternoon from Michael Jones Jewellers. I was put into them on another forum and after a bit of negotiation sorted me a deal on 2 watches. Firstly the wife's Christmas present. A rose gold and steel Constellation. I have to find a place to hide it now. Please excuse the phone photos. Some of them are a bit dodgy!

  9. I as looking at an omega aqua terra quartz earlier in the year. The quartz was £1800 and the auto was £4000!!! The only difference you could see was the sweep of the second hand. The majority of the general public wouldn't have known the difference. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  10. Watch shop windows

I don't think I've seen prices on any of the watches in the window of Patek dealers. As stated earlier, if you have to ask...........[emoji848] Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  11. Christmas Watches.

The wife will be getting a Constellation for Christmas. That is assuming she behaves herself. [emoji6] Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  12. I got some Zuludivers from Watchgecko. They are a really good quality, well stitched and nicely finished. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  13. Seiko vs washing machine

It was on a 30 degree wash, so it should be ok. [emoji51] Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  14. Seiko vs washing machine

It still looks like it's still working properly. The strap needs a bit of conditioning and moisturizing as it's had all of its natural oils stripped out of it. Apart from that its fine, and I like the shark bite idea. [emoji13] Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
