  1. Some of the bits look ok, though cheap screwdrivers are just not worth the hassle the metal is too soft Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

  4. Thursday 16th Nov. Automatics

So I decided to take my 38mm C65 trident vintage to Rome, it’s a lovey watch, not expensive so I don’t have to worry about extra insurance, box crystal, it goes with everything casual to smart and what’s even more impressive is that it’s only 5 seconds fast over 4 days continuous wear. 8. I’m not sure why people get so antsy over more affordable brands making homages, they provide an aesthetic at a price point open to everyone, the very fact that they haven’t had to spend so much money on design and development is what allows that affordability. I don’t own any myself but as long as it’s not pertaining to be something it isn’t that’s pretty much ok. Always remember Rolex copied Blancpain lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Never heard a bad word against them, they are in stock on creation watches Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  10. How can 30m be acceptable anymore

It’s just not a requirement on Flieger type watches. other companies do greater water resistance like Sinn do a 200 meter Flieger, Fortis do one, worth having a look [emoji1303] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

  12. Struggling to decide

I’ve got a while to decide, at the moment I’m looking at the pros and cos, the Rolex is only a £4800 watch because it’s a Rolex, in lots of photos it looks washed out due to no AR coating, it has no date, it felt a little cheaper in hand, I can’t help thinking it should be priced at the same as the Tudor Heritage Black Bay 41 mm, pros it is a classic design that can be dressed up dressed down, worn with anything, value retention is second to none. The Omega Beautiful Dial Master co-axial movement Has a date 150m wr Over 15,000 gauss Cons: Will it still look good in 10 years Won’t retain such value Doesn’t sit quite as well on the wrist Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  13. New strap

I’m quite fond of a rally strap I have my Speedmaster on a di modell rally Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  14. Struggling to decide

Lol you are right. it’s a lot of money for me and will be my last big purchase for a few years and because of that I’m also thinking about the longevity of it, I’m giving myself a long time to contemplate [emoji1303] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Yeah the 39mm, I do love my 37mm vintage 70s Seamaster it’s a classy size, but think I’d go 39mm Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
