  1. With the benefit of hindsight...?

You wouldn't have saved like billyo over the last five years, because it has taken you those five years of journeying through various other watches, with attendant comings and goings, for you to realise that the Tank and Speedy are 'the ones'. But are they? Will you still have them in another five years time? Only time will tell. Guy Sent from my Xperia Z Premium using Tapatalk
  2. Marathon 300m auto diver

Yup. Nice and chunky; easily gripable by a gloved hand. [emoji106] Guy Sent from my Xperia Z Premium using Tapatalk

Well done Superfly, great purchase. Marathon are, IMHO, vastly underrated and not as well known as they should be. As you suggest they're tough, as well they ought to be, being genuine Military Specification with NATO stock number and issued to Canadian and US armed forces. Which size did you get? Plus looks like you've slipped it onto one of your old favourite straps. Guy PS> My 45mm Jumbo Diver (JSAR) says 'hi' Sent from my Xperia Z Premium using Tapatalk

Cheers Tazmo. [emoji106] Only bought it about 10 days ago. Love the Yellow highlights too. Only 38mm which, for those that know me, is way off my usual fayre and comfort zone of 42mm-46mm. 1990s age, with Oris 674, aka 7750, inside. Currently on a Hirsch Heavy Calf.
