  1. Swiss watches for around £300 - £450

    May I recommend steinhart ?
  2. Which one should I keep?

I would keep the CW. The design is more unique than squale.
  3. First thing, see if there is any debris or any particle stuck in the moving part of the movement.
  4. Think I Was Lucky

What is the purple liquid? feel free to go technical... really curious here..
  5. What are Steinhart all about?

I would vouch for steinhart as well. In terms of quality, build, and price their watches are hard to beat. I own 5 of them and likely to own more when more future models are out. I think if the price is affordable why not try one for yourself.
  6. Wall Quartz Clock Run Fast...

I would like to thank the member who point me out to the right direction. Finally, the engine arrives. I went for the smooth second hand movement and they seems to be ok so far. However, I did not realised that the clock still have some noise. It is like some sort of insect is crawling in a pipe... lol
  7. Wall Quartz Clock Run Fast...

Found the engine on the bay... will let you all know how it goes... thanks
  8. I start to notice what my economic wall clock from ikea start to run faster... around fast 10 - 15 mins in a month. Is there a way to fix it? It is cheap but I feel guilty to the green environment just to throw it away and buy new one. I tried changing the battery....
  9. Where To Start

I would like to second the above post.. at 600 GBP you should be able afford almost two steinhart.. their build is excellent compare to a watch cost 3 to 10 times more. Maybe a sub and a pilot?

  11. So How Long Until A Steinie Arrives?

Nice to hear you will be getting your watch soon. There is a dedicate steinhart section in watch you seek forum. Feel free to check it out. there are load of information you might want to know about the watch and company. http://forums.watchuseek.com/f275/
  12. So How Long Until A Steinie Arrives?

From my experience ordering from them and what I have read from WUS forum. It seems that the ceramic inlay is expect to be stock in Mid may. This is mean it will take at least another week or two to get the orders shipped. If your order is a watch and you paid 15 Euros, it will be sent by FEDEX weekdays. Also, steinhart only send the item out 2 days a week (I was told from WUS).
