  1. The Pogue thread.

Here’s mine which I sold recently. It was from 1978 and I’m looking out for an older one from my birth year, 1969. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. 21 for me. Not my age!
  3. Quite a few new ones on eBay around that price with free delivery too.
  4. I'm very happy to recommend the work of STS and Simon is real gent. Prices are fair in my view and they do a fantastic job. Just got my 1969 Speedmaster back and very happy.
  5. Christopher Ward - Worth The Money?

I wouldn't buy a new one. Pre-owned maybe. They are definitely a marmite brand from what I've seen on watch forums over the years.
  6. Roy Hodgson's Watch

I agree entirely. 'Diminshing' is exactly the right word.
  7. Bremont Value

I have seen these come up occasionally. Patience is a virtue etc ...
  8. Can Anyone Help With A Valuation Please?

Agree with that. But I'd rather buy a speedy than a used Breitling seawolf. Better investment in the long term.
  9. Bremont Value

I'd only buy a pre-owned Bremont. £2k for the above watch, maybe a little more?
  10. Congratulations on your speedy. You definitely made the right choice. Having said that, I'd love a Bremont too one day but I'm not buying new.
  11. Roy Hodgson's Watch

It is a truly awful watch imho. Surely he should have better taste at his age!
  12. Any Rolex Specialists?

    Definitely, steer clear of that.
  13. Black Bay & Submariner

Congratulations on your purchase! That looks really stunning in that colour imho.
  14. Decisions Decisions...

A few years ago I had a Breitling Olympus Navitimer with the moon phase etc and a lot of white not the dial. It was beautiful but sadly had to sell it to fund some unexpected vet's fees. I'd love one of those again.
  15. A lovely watch, many congratulations. I'm also enjoy a new (old) Omega. Sadly, its off for a service at STS in a few days and I will miss it. Brilliant watches.
