  1. The holy trinity

Each to their own! That’s the joy of watch ownership and discussion. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. The holy trinity

It is Patek, Rolex and Omega for me. Two out of three covered. One to come when I retire. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Right time for eBay?

I would avoid selling there until you have tried other routes (I.e. here and other watch forums), unless the watches in question are highly popular or desirable in which case you can realise a profit on the ‘bay that you may not realise elsewhere. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Incoming Lancaster has landed.

Looks great! Enjoy your new watch and thanks for the write up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Merry Christmas Everybody

Happy Christmas to all! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. The Pogue thread.

Here’s mine which I sold recently. It was from 1978 and I’m looking out for an older one from my birth year, 1969. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. 21 for me. Not my age!
  8. Quite a few new ones on eBay around that price with free delivery too.
  9. I'm very happy to recommend the work of STS and Simon is real gent. Prices are fair in my view and they do a fantastic job. Just got my 1969 Speedmaster back and very happy.
  10. Christopher Ward - Worth The Money?

I wouldn't buy a new one. Pre-owned maybe. They are definitely a marmite brand from what I've seen on watch forums over the years.
  11. Roy Hodgson's Watch

I agree entirely. 'Diminshing' is exactly the right word.
  12. Bremont Value

I have seen these come up occasionally. Patience is a virtue etc ...
  13. Can Anyone Help With A Valuation Please?

Agree with that. But I'd rather buy a speedy than a used Breitling seawolf. Better investment in the long term.
  14. Bremont Value

I'd only buy a pre-owned Bremont. £2k for the above watch, maybe a little more?
  15. Congratulations on your speedy. You definitely made the right choice. Having said that, I'd love a Bremont too one day but I'm not buying new.
