    Seiko 6309 7040 Movement Out.

This is not acceptable Take it back to said watchmaker and demand he do it again for free!! You have now a case back that is scratched because he doesnt know how to take them off properly and he didnt get the job done right in the first place My 2p Nick

    Modded Monster

hi mate won't be selling this one, am going to put it on a anvil/shark mesh and see what she looks like Nick Sounds good. Let's have a peek at the finished article. here you go mate went for a shark mesh in the end instead of the the anvil Hi. After seeing this pic i've decided i must have a shark mesh strap for my black monster. Where did you buy yours? I've seen what seems like the same strap from two different sellers on Ebay. This one from canada but the feedback worries me .120576964409. And this one from the UK 160783298719. which is much dearer but great feedback. All advice welcome. Thanks. Woah! Shark mesh has def gone up in price since i bought mineThe UK one will be better as feedback is betterI think from memory i got mine thru wjean? But cant rememberBest to keep checking sales area here for a cheap oneOne bit of advice, theres 2 types of shark mesh, one looks thin and girly with a clip clasp, this is thick and chunky shark witth double locking claspGood luckNIck

    Modded Monster

not sure on that one, I don't think it would look right because the monster bezel has notches taken out of it and it suits the case when at 12, look on the pic above to see what I mean Nick

    Modded Monster

So, I'm sure most of you read http://www.thewatchf...opic=74572&st=0 a monster that I sold was returned to me as it wasn't running? anywho received the watch back from said buyer and sure enough, she is very hard to start she would run, then stop... then run again... then stop... then boot back into life.... sat her on my desk for half a day... and still going.. then..... I come back from lunch and she was dead :( buyer had every right to return the watch - as a bit of a tinkerer I had a fair few bits and bobs laying around in a box that I could pull apart and make this monster the glory she once was in the box was, 2 x 7s26b's movements, date wheels, a few bezel inserts for a 007, gaskets, crown stems and in a plastic case a set of plongeur hands I acquired cheap from the bay a while back so I thought, meh, why not? parts used, 7s26 movement from a 002, NOS dial from another monster, plongeur minute hand and stock second and hour hand couldn't be bothered shooting a step by step guide, as I am sure this has been covered many times either on her or other forums, so just took some pics of the during and the finish hope you likey? how would the moster look with a different bezel? not my cup of tea, so decided to go back to the original those with a keen eye will notice I ruined the other minute hand taking it off!! oops!! and now for some pics taken from my dsl and how bout a lume shot? hope you enjoyed the end result as much as I had doing it Nick
