    • http://www.museumoftimekeeping.org.uk/special-museum-open-day/ 3rd June in Nottingham.  The fair is small, and not well advertised, so there will either be bargains or nothing to be had! Unlike the last time they had a fair they are opening the museum too, so something for everyone. I will be there
    • Invicta -. sometimes maligned but I like mine
    • The only person who could remotely solve this that I know is of the opinion that since principal photography for the film started with cast and crew based in O'Ahu , its very very likely that Wardrobe department simply sent a runner with a shopping list and a few pictures down to downtown Honolulu and just picked up a bunch of cheap watches....  He is of the opinion that a lack of Prop records for this movie with regards watches tends to suggest that they were an after thought almost. Also he points out that the watch worn by Hammond in the movie looks pretty much like the sort of stuff you could get on O'Ahu in a downtown souvenir/trinkett store. Come to think of it , when I was in North shore a few years back , I am pretty sure I saw some "fancy" watches on the cheap with amber-type gem stone chunks in them... So I am starting to think these watches ( and his in particular ) may just be a "ten dollar watch" as they say State-side.....
